What is the 365 Project?
The 365 Project is 365 days of artistic activation at Frida – Bobby – Galerie in Neukölln, Berlin, running through all of 2027.
For one year, the gallery is used to its full potential: a combination of shorter events, multi-day events and exhibitions, all carefully curated and planned to fill the space with people, art and ideas.
Our approach
A gallery used to its full potential.
For 2027, we are not following the traditional rules of a gallery. Instead of long, drawn-out exhibitions that end with a mostly empty room, we are programming the whole year so the gallery stays active and full of people.
01Shorter events
One-night and short-run events: performances, talks, workshops, live art and conversations.
02Multi-day events
Installations, collaborations and projects that take over the space for several days.
03Exhibitions
Curated exhibitions throughout the year, planned to bring people through the door.
For artists, there is no upfront cost to use the space: the gallery takes a commission only on artwork sales and on ticket sales, where an event has tickets. The gallery can also be rented, for example for brand events, pop-ups or private celebrations. Every event is listed on the gallery's Luma page.
Art activation
Helping artists activate their art.
A big part of the 365 Project is giving artists what they need to move forward: access to space, opportunities to show their work, and room to communicate their ideas.

The space
40 m² of white walls in Neukölln.
Frida – Bobby – Galerie holds 50 to 100 people, close enough that a crowd feels like a gathering rather than an audience. Small rooms make for real conversations, and real conversations make for nights people remember.
An exhibition of exhibitions
The year is a time capsule.
Every event, exhibition and collaboration becomes part of one larger work. The whole year will be documented through audio and video, to be shown later as an exhibition of its own.
Collaborative pieces made at the gallery will also travel to other exhibitions and art shows in Berlin, and the year ends with a big New Year's party: a celebration that brings together everyone who made 365 happen.

Throughout the year there will be many collaborative artistic projects to get involved in, as well as opportunities to become a project lead for different initiatives.
It starts with the walls. The year opens with an invitation to draw, paint and doodle on the gallery walls, which will be covered in fabric for the event. The finished fabric is then scanned and photographed, and selected artwork is turned into clothing, plates and mugs. Not every mark will make it onto the merchandise, but everyone who draws has a chance to be included.

Submit your idea through our open call. Every submission is reviewed, and if it is a good fit, we will be in touch to find the right place in the programme.
The €10 submission fee covers the review of your proposal. It does not guarantee a place in the programme.
